Oh mylanta. I heard a while ago through a friend about a wedding taking place in a gorgeous, old, brick bookstore in my hometown. This…is…fabulous!
On that note, lets look into some book-inspired, library themed wedding inspiration. Yummy!!!
How about this use of old flea market books for table numbers!?
I think this would be a great centerpiece! Though, maybe with flowers too! Lovely.
Such a simple reception centerpiece idea! A stack of books.
Printed book cover table themes. Soooo fabulous! “Yes, you’re at the Fahrenheit 451 table.”
Use old, hollowed out books for wedding invitations. Love it!
book inspired invitation
More bookie table numbers!
Old book pages for decorations
More torn out book pages. So neat!
Book escort card idea- each guest got their own custom bookmark marking which table to go to!
More wedding invitation books. I. Must. Make. One. Where’s that special client??
Groomsmen’s gifts in books.
Another invitation in a book!
Looooove the “library card” look!
Loving this ceremony bookcase setup! Please do this for your wedding!!

This is truly the most creative, and beautiful wedding theme ever!
Thanks for the post….
Lovely! Am looking for a wedding theme. This is very helpful!
Love being able to help! I love the book themed wedding idea sooo much. Good luck picking a theme for your wedding!
I see three photos here of a hollowed out book invitation that I designed and produced for our client Jessica Claire. It looks like you’ve credited someone named Elizabeth Anne.
I’m not sure how and why these photos came your way credited incorrectly, but we would greatly appreciate it if you would adjust this and give credit where it’s due…
Thanks for your attention to this!

Hi there! I’m sorry for the confusion. I am crediting the website where I found the pictures of your invitations. If you visit Elizabeth Anne’s blog, she either credits YOU or another blog where she found the pictures, through which you may be credited. At the end of the line, you are credited. I’m only noting that I found these images through that particular blog, not that she made them. However, I’m more than happy to change the link to credit you. Thanks for the heads up!
I love the library card invitation. Can you share some information on the details of the materials used? Where can I order the item used as the card?
Agree…library card invitations are adorable!
The materials used for the invitations were vintage romance novels, with custom designed paper pieces inside. The library card item itself was custom designed/printed, as it doubled as the couple’s RSVP cards (guests filled the library card out and sent back to the couple with their attendance plans). We do custom work and would be more than happy to collaborate with you on your project. Feel free to contact me; marissa@lifeworkmedia.com to discuss what you’re looking for!
xoxo,
